DC Public Library – Jazz legend Henry Threadgill on his memoir "Easily Slip Into Another World"



February 4, 2024 | In celebration of Black History Month, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library hosts a tribute concert and conversation with Henry Threadgill, the Pulitzer Prize-winning jazz saxophonist. Henry Threadgill discusses his memoir, "Easily Slip Into Another World: A Life In Music" with co-author and jazz historian Brent Hayes Edwards. Jazz educator Paul Carr leads the conversation, and the Paul Carr Legacy Quartet provides tribute entertainment. This program sponsored by The DC Public Library Foundation, and the Anacostia Community Museum.
